Manage to optimize the use of tab browsing.
BarTab is an extension for
Firefox the objective of which is to
optimize the use of the tabs in this popular web browser. If we keep all our favorite tabs loaded, when we restore a session, the browser tries to load them all at the same time, something that requires a lot of memory and causes the speed to fall.
BarTab will allow us to configure the use of the tabs: we will be able to
choose if we want it to load them or not when we restore from an earlier session, when a tab isn't visited for a certain amount of time or when the tabs are opened without going into them.
It will also offer us the possibility to select a series of web addresses that will
always stay loaded. And last of all, we will also be able to configure
BarTab so that it loads a tab as soon as we enter it.
With this we will manage to
increase the speed of the browser, specially all those users that make big use of tabs.
BarTab is an interesting complement that will manage to
solve the major problem that Firefox shows regarding its performance when the amount of open browser tabs increases.
